We love having kids be a part of everything we do at First Baptist Church of Cherokee! When you visit, you’ll find a safe, welcoming environment where children are cared for by trusted volunteers who love Jesus and love kids. All of our volunteers are trained and background-checked to ensure a secure experience for your family.

During our Sunday worship service at 10:30 am, we offer several opportunities for children to grow in their faith:

- Nursery care is available for little ones from birth up to 4 years old.

- Children’s Church is available for preschool and kindergarten-aged children, offering a fun and age-appropriate Bible lesson.

- Elementary Children's Church serves 1st through 4th graders, providing interactive, engaging teaching that helps them connect with God's Word in a meaningful way.

We believe that church should be a place where kids feel loved, safe, and excited to learn about Jesus — and we can't wait to welcome your family!

At First Baptist Church of Cherokee, our worship services are centered on honoring God together. We worship through singing, hearing the preaching of God's Word, responding in prayer, and giving generously to support the work of the church and missions around the world.

As our guest, you are warmly invited to participate in every part of the service, but please know there is no expectation for you to give financially. The ministries of our church are supported by our members and regular attenders who joyfully invest in God's work.

You’re welcome to dress up if you’d like, but it’s not required. At First Baptist Church of Cherokee, you’ll see everything from jeans and t-shirts to more traditional Sunday attire. No matter what you wear, you’ll fit right in!
